JMC Music College asked us to build 7 rehearsal studios in their Pyrmont campus.
The studios had to be sound proof, be independent ‘float’ from all ceilings, floor slabs and walls. Have free flowing air conditioning and be insulated so as not to reverberate noise or distort sound.
The project was a great success and has led to a number of similar projects being undertaken, including fitting out the auditorium with tiered seating and acoustic baffling on the walls and ceilings.
